Hi everyone. I am new around here and I am glad to have joined this community of Land Rover lovers. I am from Spain so I hope you all understand my English and I understand you too. I have got a Disco 300 tdi '97 which I have changed some things to. I would like you to help my to find the engine breather filter since in the manual I 've got it is said it must be cleaned after 20.000 kms or 12 months but I just do not know where it is .Well, thanks in advance
N.B : I am sending a pic of my Disco

have a look at your turbo charger and air inlet.
there will be a hose that runs from a fitting on the very top of the engine, this is the breather, the fitting will have the filter in it.
pull it off and wash out with turps/metho and then blow dry. DO NOT put it back while wet with solvent.
oh yeah....
welcome to AULRO.

Well, the most important problem for me is that I just do not know many technical terms and expressions that you use.
Talking about my Disco, thanks for your compliments. I am very interested in keeping it fit, you know that is why I would like to find sort of a manual telling me when to changue the oil, clean the intercooler... you know what I mean, right?
Now, changing the subject... Is it free to be a member of this club or not ? I have seen a place where you can suscribe paying different amounts of money. Please, can anyone clarify me this?
This forum is free!!! (well either that or were just not paying some poor bugger
)
