Thread: Brake light problem

My high-level brake light in the tailgate works fine, but neither of the two low ones work. Both globes are fine, and the contacts look clean.
Any clues as to where to look?

Also, will this affect the operation of the cruise control? That has stopped working also. All hoses are fine and hold vacuum, and the bladder operates fine under manual suction.

..not sure, but have you double checked all fuses?

Other idea, is perhaps a plug has worked its way loose somewhere. Could be at the fuse box back to the lights.

I'm unaware if the brake and cruise are on the same circuits or perhaps they are on the same plug at the fuse box.
