Thread: D1 auto gearbox oil change

    just jumped under and noticed the cross member has gearbox mounts coming off it does it matter taking these off to change the oil, where would i get the oil change kit?? all 4x4 kotara????

    urmmm....

    from memory...

    the tubular cross member should be the one you need to remove and the mounts should be mounted to the chassis on plates....


    if its not its not the end of the world.. support the tcase just forwards of the handbrake drum after checking that the engine mounts are ok then remove the member and then the pan.
