Diesel
Should i be trusting the local privetly owned service station? their price of Diesel is always cheaper! by at least 5c. But i have found since using this stuff that the 300Tdi is starting to blow more smoke i have noticed the puff of smoke when you start the car is getting bigger.
What is the best option to solve the black smoke iv also heard running a tank of Bio once every now and then can clean out the system but that you would need to change the fuel filter after any opinions?
Also does anyone know of any easy things i can do to save economy?! (i am aware of the tyre pressure weight yada yada!) i mean things that you don't hear about on ACA every week
James.

I've had an upgraded intercooler fitted by TRS, and now that I've had it dyno-tuned (this morning) am hoping that all the reports are true about improved fuel economy. I'll be able to give a report on that in the next week or two, but for now can certainly say the the engine is far more responsive (up from 50kW at the wheels to 70kW).
