    Hey guys, I am new member to this forum, just wanted to introduce my self. I live in the states(alabama) and am the proud owner of a 97 Disco 4.0 V8 with ARB, BUT its not working at the moment due to a faulty fuel pump unit. If anyone has any knowledge that you would wish to share it would be greatly appreciated. Looking to replace the pump unit only, the rest of the assembly is good, still tells how much is in the tank and whatnot, its just not pulling any fuel and theres nothing at the fuel rail. I'm looking for a part to replace 25165432 A3556-1. Again any help would be appreciated. Thx so much!

    Are you 100% sure its the pump!? have you checked the simple things to start with such as filter fuel line? or checked the pump with out the hose in to see if petrol is getting spat out?

    turn the ignition on and stick your head under the fuel tank,, can you hear the pump running?
    if not, hit the tank with something,, if the pump starts now its just given you a Land Rover warning

    Its been common practise here to just replace the bosche pump,,

    Thanks for the reply guys

    I havnt checked the pump with out the fuel lines attached, which I assume means that I should remove the lines while the pump sits in the tank?

    can you provide a good source for the Bosch pump, and you are referring to the pump only and not the whole in-tank assmebly, correct?
