    D1 rear dog box

I have recently had new safari window rubbers installed as well the square window rubbers on my 95 D1. This was to stop water coming in during heavy rain, as well as the square ones had the obligatory splitting. The real issue with this was that the rear floor was rusting out and need a great deal of repair and was all done in August last year.
Today, I happened to get something off the rear floor and shock, horror the carpet was saturated again After great expense and time off the road i would have thought that the problem was solved. I'm really p***** off about it.
Is there a proper solution to this problem? If so please let me know.

    Cheers Rob

Somewhere there is an official pdf that is all about water ingress in the rear. Tightening bolts etc near the roof line I think was the main gist of it. I had it saved but no idea where. Someone on here should have it as I got it off here a couple of years ago.

As I have the same issue with water ingress in the back of my 98 Disco, I'm keen to get my hands on this advice as well.

On a related note, where did you get the square window rubbers from?? Mine are horribly split and cracked as well.

Back to the leaking issue, I pulled the rear carpet out one weekend and all of the side and ceiling trim in the back and then got the missus to coat the back of the disco in copious amounts of water and the only place I could see it coming in was around the rear door seal, actually it seemed to be tracking along the seal around to the bottom of the door and then leaking through the seal?? . I haven't got any further clues to water ingress apart from that.

I have subsequently looked at the rear door seal and have seen that it probably is the problem spot. As well as the inspection cover over the fuel pump, the Mastic that seals this cover had perished. On advice i will also check all the bolts and whatevr other seals i can find.
All the rubbers were acquired from TR Spares at Padstow.

    Cheers Rob
