    Whats the best way to remove the cigarette lighter from 95 D1?

    Is is a flat blade job and prise out from the front?

    Actually on the d1 the housing is cleverly designed to almost fall out when you yank out the phone charger...but I want mine all the way out...

    Remove the centre console.
    Thats the only way to remove it, so u can use it again.

    Near on impossible - you have to unplug it and remove the the light socket on the back first - as said by Sniegy, remove the console first.
