On my old Rangie 10 + seat belt mounting points and half day fitting

Disco one has the same points.

Not sure of Vic laws but if your car has a airbags (SRS) you can't do a body lift.

There are some good kits around but doesn't take much to make one. Although pre-made is better option

Just ordered some 30mm ones yesterday a mate is knocking them up for me. 2" lift you will need to replace the seat belt mounts. Also make up some drop down mounts for the radiator.
    You will need 10 blocks

    SLight hijack, sorry Dragon2000.

V8Landy, I'd be very very interested to find out what's required for your 30mm lift. I've entertained the same possibility for a while.

    Regards

Hey Goldy . I have done the 30mm body lift and all that is required is the 10 blocks and longer HT bolts . You will need to drill 2 holes for the radiator support and drop the brackets down . 30mm doesn't seem much but it has stopped my wheels from rubbing on the guards . Oh and seat belt bolts just need adjusting if you have the longer bolts like mine has . I think the earlier D1's had a shorter seat belt bolt as V8Landy found out .

    Thks Mick

What size were your blocks (ie 50mm round, 30mm high?) and what material? Polyurethane or Ally. My Disco is a 98 model with a driver side airbag, so still have to deal with that one.

You'll only be able to fit a body lift to the passenger side.

dont forget to either extend or drop your brake lines down to stop binding as these are attached to the body also.

oh yeah . I only had to drop the back brake lines . The front ones are fine . But that will also depend on how big of lift you have too . You can't do the body lift with airbags from what i have been told . Best be going a 3 or 4 inch suspension lift .

    EDIT : 50mm x 30mm steel blocks .
