Would you say the flange is well priced?

I paid $50 for my shaft but the sliding splines are a bit worn.

You can get new ones. I can't remember what I was quoted exactly but I think $400ish.

If you find one with a good spline but flogged UJs the UJs are only $20 each to buy.

There are two types of flanges too. One needs a spacer and the other has the spacer built in. You will also need to move your mud shield over from your old flange.

It sounds OK if it's a new one but, as said, you might need the spacer too.
In the link I posted earlier, it mentions a kit that has everything you need (except the propshaft).

Ok So latest quote for the shaft is now $275 (they decided they wanted more money) and $88 for the flange.

Iv sent LOKKA a PM just waiting on a reply. Once get this sorted maybe the disco will work with no worries again.

Check out Slunnies website he has done this mod to his and done a tutorial on it. This is the only real way to fix this annoying problem.

I had this happen to me on my D1. If you take your shaft to a driveshaft specialist, they should be able to cut off the old yoke and weld on a new one to take a UJ. That way you just need the flange to match for the diff end; should be around $40 from memory....I had this done and it cost about $100 at the driveshaft bloke, plus UJ if you haven't got one (I already had a UJ to give him.....).
