weird lock up type sound

can anyone help source the sound? every few turn, normally turning into the left my disco feels and sounds like the front is skidding (understeers a tad). would the brakes be clamping on and holding after i have lifted my foot or would the be something else wrong.

The centre diff isn't locked is it??
