    Land Rover Fonts

    Hi everyone

Does anyone have a list of fonts used for the various decals and badges on the Land Rover vehicles

I am looking specifically for the font for the "Classic" badge on the fender of the Disco2s.

But I would guess that there would be more folks on the forum looking for L/R fonts for various projects and here would be a good place to list them

If anyone has a Disco 2 and wouldn't mind snapping a picture of the "Classic" badge on the fender and posting it up here I would be very appreciative

    Cheers
    Jason

    Thanks Kieren

I found that one too (for a moment there I thought I must have missed one of the permutations of "Land" "Rover" Discovery" "Disco""2""Classisc""badge""Decal" in google image search......I thought you'd caught me out!!!!)

No the actual badge I was looking for was the individual letters that spell out "Classic" I think it was only on the later (03) Disco2s.

    I have a grainy, reflective web-sourced image:

And I think the font might be MS "Impact"

I can't help with fonts but the CLASSIC decal was sourced locally by Land Rover Australia so there's unlikely to be an actual link to a Land Rover font anywhere.

Looks like "Impact" Go here and type the word "CLASSIC" into the sample text area.

I just printed "Classic" in impact & compared it to mine.

I would say that it is the same font, or so close that you would have to get a ruler out to check the differences...
