Congrats Big guy, that is the best model to get,(apart fromthe 1998) and will serve you well if it has been well looked after, which by the sounds of it has! You may never need another vehicle again

I have never been a fan of white cars (thats what you get when you worked for the government for nearly 20 years) but that looks good. I think the barwork and snorkel dress it up nicely. nice buy

Just booked it in for timing belt, intercooler upgrade, silicon hoses and injection tweak.
New radiator hoses and usual servicing.
Getting done at Triumph Rover Spares.
Phil there is a good bloke, done lots of things there and had lots of V8's bought there.
They say I will get 65-70KW at the wheels up from 55.
I actually think it goes pretty well but going up the hill, I don't want to wring its neck too much.
Did I mention it has Maxi-drive locker in back, already used it getting jet ski out of Murray as the water level dropped so much. Didn't need it just wanted to see the little light glow.
    Bring on winter.

Looks like a great buy Big Guy.

I recently bought a 98 TDi from TRS and had one of their intercoolers fitted, and sure enough the tweak resulted in 70KW at the wheels... well worthwhile.

You're right about Phil at TRS. He'll look after you.
