    Steering and Banter

Well i am very much falling out of love with my Discovery, ever since 86Mudds range rover which was extensively modified sold for only 6K i haven't been happy with what i have...That Range Rover was everything i wanted so i am now keeping an eye out for the next incredible buy...but till then which could be 12 months away i will continue to take the discovery out but i do not plan on spending any more money on it for mods i have a 2inch lift and 31" Muddies plus the usual bull bar spotties...

When i got my lift i didn't get a steering dampener i am still running the old one and the car feel rather giggle in the steering and i was wondering if a after market dampener will fix this up?

Also it feels like all the bushes are worn up can feel a giggle under my right foot when on bumpy roads i suspect this to be the rubber on the are to the axle as it is the only rubber in that area...

I am aware this is a multi point thread so i will clear things up

    1. My discovery is great but not a Range Rover
    2. Should i get a after market dampener to prevent the giggle in the steering?
    3. I will be taking the Discovery through some muddy tracks tomorrow or Saturday as it has been raining all week so perfect time to get out and get the outside of the car filthy
    4. If you see a range rover with all the kit going cheap and you don't want it point me in the direction of sale and i will check it out

Having had 2 rrc's before getting my disco i can assure you unless you find a mint RRC you will be going a loooong way backwards getting a rangie unless you like getting your hands dirty and constant maintenance. I love the RRC but the disco being a lot newer is so much nicer (and easier) to drive. I wouldnt go back to a carby rangie now after the effortless TDI auto disco i drive now.
