Thread: Central Locking Woes...

I'm having issues with the central locking in my 97V8i Disco.

Just recently when I've been using the remote keyfob the doors lock and unlock really slowly almost as if not enough power is being made available to drive the motors(?) in the locking mechanisms even though the battery is in good nick and provides anough power to srtart the engine first time every time.

Sometimes the locking buttons on 1 or 2 of the doors don't even move at all.

As this all seems to have starting happening in the last few weeks I'm wondering if 'something' has got in 'somewhere' or if something is just old, loose, dirty or needs replacing.

But where to start? Any ideas...

Mine (98) was doing this after sitting for 3 months, seams to be coming go now, but was slow when I would leave home (low BAT) and work better at the shops (after run & charge).
last 3 week car only be use 3 times a week
out of the 3 playing up, now only 1.

I was going to pull all mine apart and check for corroion, but now seeing how in goes
