    Will this size tyre fit?

Im sorry, Im sure its been asked a bazillion times, but in a search I came up with no answers to my Q.

93 Disco, 30 mm body lift.

265/70/16 is the size. Im currently running 245/65/16's and there seems to be heaps of room, but before I fork out some scratch, Id like to know if thats a size that will fit.....or not...

according to an online tyre calculator the 265/70/16 will be 20mm wider and 52mm larger in diameter so it will throw your speedo out by 7% and it should fit a 7 inch rim.

Not yet, but it will get a 2 inch lift once I get my house refinance sorted ina few weeks.

I should have mentioned that as a future mod.

You may have a little bit of scrubbing of the inside of the guards under full-lock due to the extra width, can be eliminated by adjusting the steering bump stops but turning circle will be a little more.

In terms of wheel width, a small camel cut may be required for the back guards to ensure they remain undamaged, search will yield results on this etc, its dead simple with an angle grinder and should take less than 15 minutes even being very very careful. Although a 2" lift in the near future should go pretty close to negating the need to, just be careful until then (no hardcore flexing!!)

30mm body lift and 50mm spring lift will give you enough room to run 285/75/16s if you chop the guards and fit flares

And mine doesn't even have the body lift

I have 265x70/16 on mine ( on 16x8 rims) and mine only rub on full lock on the steering arms.
