    Light/Indicator Wiring Problems

    Hey guys,

I am having major problems with my indicators and lights at the moment. When the driving lights are on the right indicator stays on (it doesnt even flash just stays on like a normal light) and the left indicator makes a noise inside the car (a faster ticking than usual) but it doesnt actually do anything on the outside and the right hand one is still on... 3 out of the 4 rear red lights that are meant to come on also dont come on when the driving lights are on.

When I indicate without the driving lights on the right hand one works fine but the 1 working rear red driving light joins in with it and they both flash together.... and the left hand side flashes at a fast rate and only the rear indicator actually works...

It is very stuffed up i know! I have spent the last hour or so checking all the wires and following them and checking all the fuses and all the bulbs... everything seems fine/i have no idea what im really looking for haha.

Some advise would be really handy! Is there something i should do or should i take it to an auto elec? I just had the wiring loom in the aircon re done because it stuffed itself and it wasnt a cheap exercise... would love to be able to tackle this one myself.

    Shamo

failing that maybe you have cross connected something by mistake....you just fitted heaps to the car haven't you is there anything electrical you have fitted that could be causing the problem.

Were all the lights working fine before now?

So if it was fine and now it's gone crazy, what did you do in between fine and crazy?

Yeah only thing i have touched is fixing a switch under the kick board thing above the pedals... im not sure if i mentioned it before but it fell down today and jammed the accelerator on i like hit it back up in a bit of a panick to try and get it out of the way, it pretty much did happen after that so i know pretty much the area but there arnt that many cords under where i hit it they are all higher up like in the bit that comes down directly under the steering wheel, i tried looking but i cant really find anything... they are all just in bunches together and like sticky taped and stuff like that.... like there is nothing obvious... i may be missing something or there might be something there though that has failed? there arnt many main plastic box things mainly just cords (haha love how specific i am btw :P).

Hmmm ill have another look later, but does anyone know what i should specifically be looking at?

    Thanks, Shamo
