Is it possible to swop the two front seats?

The passenger seat is awesome but the drivers seat is sagging.
Is it possible to swop them over ??

    thanks

It is possible to swap the front seats over but I believe there is a difference. I did this with a Datsun 180B a few years ago, and I found that the seats when swapped over pointed toward the door which made driving uncomfortable. So I think the same may apply to the Disco as well.

Is is possible to swap the seats over, you will need to swap the base mounts between the seats and the adjusting knob will be on the other side. Ultimately what you need to do is dismantle the sagging seat and replace the squab part with one from a later seat, that part is interchangable. (If you are looking for a complete seat there are two different base mount widths, that changed about 1995.) Send a message to "Bundalene". Erich or his son may have one.

I just shoved a piece of 3mm plywood, about 30cm by 25cm, a bit of foam, under the cushion, problem sorted.

This is my left front seat, on which I used a thicker piece of plywood, sandwiched with two pieces of egg carton type foam with cardboard backing from some computer shipping box.
