    Smile D1 cruise control

    After spending ages looking through and using the info on this site, ploughing over and through the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual and checking everything, I finally came to the conclusion that the cruise module was faulty. I then entered the Hella part number into google and up came a place in Holland. I emailed them and they replied and said send it over. After 3 weeks the replacement module arrived with a 12 month warranty. And it works too. here is the website www.ecu-rc.com

    Don't tell me that now...
    I bought 2 off ebay ($80 each) both duds, so I got a new one from Mr Cooper for $320, and as I'm an honest boy I throw the duds away.

    Wish I'd thought about reconditioning them

    Sorry, forgot to tell you the price. $240 including postage with a 12month warranty. You can also get a new one from Rimmers in UK, www.rimmerbros.co.uk for about the same price, but I hate throwing things away that can be fixed.
