    Sliders

I am in the market for some rock sliders and i found these on the net they seem to be pretty cheap sliders. I was wondering if anyone either has these or has worked with these guys before?

These sliders are not quiet the design i have been looking for i would rather they sat slightly proud of the doors for tree sliders.

But for $450 i think they are a pretty good product?

    James.

    Hi
I will be building my own sliders for my D2 soon, as well will be making some for a mate with a D1 as well. That price there isn't bad, normally the ones with the "step" which protects the doors start around $700 I have found, so I've decided to build my own.

    Cheers

450 bucks for thoes is a rip! i usta sell my DWE ones for 400 and they were a far better design than that. theres only about 100 bucks worth of steel in them ones

Depends on the material you use, plus did you take into account welding consumables, flap discs, paint/powder coating.

    Oh... and labour

guess what? i served my time in an engineering and fabrication shop everything i do is costed

i can knock up a set of my design sliders in 4 hrs, excluding paint.
the set in the link could be built in half that easy as there are no bends or champered ends.

    cheers phil

They look pretty crappy, i dont think i would trust them, you should speak to chris about a set, we've been talking about making up a few sets for a while, no doubt what we do will be far better then those crappy things.... he can basically make them any way you want them too.

If we are still interested, I would like a set made to suit my D1.
