2in lift problems - Tell me yours!

I'm in need of shocks and springs for the D1. Shopping time!

I used to have a modified Suzuki that kept me in the shed for weekends on end rooting around with driveshaft angles and all, and I'm over that.

Bog stockers have their place, especially if they have a winch so is the 2in really going to make a mental difference off road and what problems if any have you guys had with doing the rather simple 2in lift?

Will a 2in lift open a can of driveshaft, vibration, handling and monetary worms?

A 2" lift should not cause any problems , In saying that you might end up with a shot uni joint or two due to the different new angle the tail shafts will be running at thats about it

I agree, I have just done it recently and have no real issues. I run 245/75/16 and think I might go to 255 next time but will ask before I do buy them.
My car is a 91 3 door, the only thing is I have a bit more lean in to corners and needed a front end alignment. That simple and easy. Enjoy it..

Just did the 2" lift to mine, couldn't have been easier, my son (13) and I knocked it off in a couple of hours. 4 coils, 4 shocks, some tools, a jack, and some stands and you're away! Car feels great! Give Shane at suspension stuff in Brisvegas a call and he will point you in the right direction.

and, once you have the 2" spring lift, yuo can always do a 2" body lift too if required.

Just did the 4 coils on mine with a set of KRFR & KRRR Raised King Springs, 2" lift.

I have a shot doughnut coupling, so need to make sure that this is replaced before you do the springs as I have noticed that there is a vibration coming from the rear since the lift but my coupling has a couple of large splits in it. I am replacing it this weekend.

Found the front springs harder to do as the sway bars stop the axle articulating all the way downward so had trouble getting the front spring compressed enough to fit in the gap but other than that lift looks great and just manages to fit in the garage still
