really bad for your fuel econnomy.

The higher the %E the lower the KM per tank.

Not sure what the octain rating of E10 is, but the V8 likes 95 or higher.

My genius mechanic has told me not to use anything but fuel ( unleaded only) from the big 2. He reckons ethanol (which contains water) rusts your pistons and who am i too argue. This man lives and breathes Disco's !

You won't have much option if you live in NSW. From a post I made last week:

Changes that mean NSW triples its ethanol mandate from two to six per cent have been introduced into state parliament.
Lands Minister Tony Kelly said the bio-fuels legislation would help create jobs in regional areas through the establishment of a locally-produced, sustainable fuel industry.
"We introduced a two per cent mandate successfully last year and this legislation moves us closer to reducing our reliance on fossil fuels," Mr Kelly said.
The legislation also will mandate for a 10 per cent ethanol blend in all regular grade unleaded petrol by July 1, 2011 and introduce a bio-diesel mandate starting at two per cent.
This will rise to five per cent as local production increases.

I've been using it constantly for about 41/2 years now without any adverse effects.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's 95 octane, I'll have to check when I fuel up tomorrow mowning.

Have run mine on E10 plenty of times. Depends on my mood, sometimes PULP, sometimes E10.

All this talk of ethanol rotting out lines and seals. meh

Some people seem to get it mixed up with Methanol. Then again a Disco that needed to run on Methanol would be fun.
