Just remember that the force required to bend or break a stronger drag link will be transmitted upstream to things like the steering box, swivel bearings, Wheel bearings and steering column etc. I have deliberately left my standard track rod and drag link on for that reason. <aybe I've been lucky so far but only bent it twice, both times removed it and belted straight on a tree stump (or Toyota bonnet ). If the steering box takes a big hit through an impact downstream, then you may not be driving out.....

But true, although mine was broken in two, so it wasn't fixable

Check out rovacraft, they have up rated drag and tie rods sets for around $280

MR Automotive do the Maxi-Drive HD Track Rod / Drag Links etc.

or... you could pick a better line down the track



PS: Dont take my advice tho, i did pannel damage for taking the wrong line!

Would have done it ok if my rear locker was in my car, not in my office

We got quoted for one off him a while ago, i think they were $250 (each).
