Luckily Padstow Landrover wreckers-r-us had one and I managed to get it back on before it got dark.

Just remember that the force required to bend or break a stronger drag link will be transmitted upstream to things like the steering box, swivel bearings, Wheel bearings and steering column etc. I have deliberately left my standard track rod and drag link on for that reason. <aybe I've been lucky so far but only bent it twice, both times removed it and belted straight on a tree stump (or Toyota bonnet
). If the steering box takes a big hit through an impact downstream, then you may not be driving out.....
