Intermitant fuse blowing
I have now replaced a certain fuse that ligths the instruments and LHS rear lights 3 times in 6 months.
The previous owner did tell me it blows from time to time and not been able to find cause but I do believe there must be a cause, overload may-be.
Shall I just put a 15 amp in rather than 10?
I do drive a bit at night.
I believe its fuse no 6 or 8.
Any clues anyone.

It is either overload or a short circuit.
If there hasn't been any extra electrical items wired into that circuit you can probably rule out overload.
As far as short circuits are concerned, my first port of call would be trailer wiring.

I would also check the globe holders, after time they can create a big resistance & cause fuses to blow. Either take them out & clean or replace.
I would take BigJon's step first though if it has trailer wiring fitted, the biggest cause of fuses blowing are "scotchloks" those horrid plastic things that cause bad connections over time. When re-doing solder.
Cheers.
