Check both vent grille drains (1 at each side near the A post).
Could be blocked with pollen, leaves & general crap.
I had a the same problem on the passenger side.
I sicoflexed the windscreen rubber all the way around, both on the glass side and the car body side. I also sicoflexed the joints on the plastic trim at the bottom of the windscreen (the gap between the bonnet and the windscreen same bit where the windscreen wipers are) doing all that fixed it and it has lasted 18 months.
Some people who have free windscreen replacement insurance have been known to hit their windscreen with a center punch and get a free new windscreen and rubber seal....
