Guys

On my newish Disco 97 Tdi, the car has quite a clutch shudder.
When I take off in 1st or reverse, unless I take it super easy, the clutch shudders, car shakes and just drives bad on take off, once underway, its fine.

Drives me mad and off-road not suitable.

My mechanic said when the new clutch was installed, they did not machine the fly-wheel and that makes it shudder, is that right?

If so, what would I be up for as a rough guess.
I spend a fortune on it already so I guess another lot does not really matter.

My mech said 8 hours plus machining.

Should that fix it, I like my cars just right.
