so why can I get one delivered from NZ to my door for 220AU or from the UK for even less?
:eek:let's face we get totally ripped off here in Aus for most auto stuff, especially for imported cars. Thank Gawd for the internet - owning 2 Rovers and an ageing Pajero (yes I am mad), I've saved thousands by purchasing parts/stuff on line from OS. Now if only the local suppliers were more reasonable in their pricing both for new and 2nd hand parts, I'd use them more:confused:
err because its not in Australia...like I said good price for Australia;)....and yes we do get ripped for parts here in oz.
I'm of the opinion if its 50bux cheaper to get it from the uk than buying here I will buy here to keep the money here and support my economy. if its a 100+ cheaper I buy from the uk.
for me sometimes its not the cost but the ease of getting the part and how quickly i need it:)
First up, this info says to remove the ABS warning light relay.I looked at my rave cd wiring diagram and the relay should be under the glove box. The picture shows which relay it is. From what I can gather reading the wiring diagram, when this relay is removed the light will go off. Well it didn't so I removed all the relays and it still stayed on.
From my interpretation the colour of the wires should be
terminal 86 Brown and pink
30 Black and grey
85 Black
87a Black
None of the relays match these colours.
Anyone who has a wiring diagram and time to check, I woud be very grateful to see if you agree with the above.
Second, it then says to find the blue 4 pin connector and bridge some terminals. The only blue connector I can find looks like a relay socket probably for a relay to suit some accessory not fitted to my car. It is on the end of the row of relays.
Even if this was the correct connector the wire colours don't match the instructions.
Dave.
