    Trimming front end caps

I have heard rummers that some people just remove the front valance and then trim the front end caps to get better a better approch angle.

And pictures or tips before I take a jig saw to the beloved

Why on earth would you need a better approach angle Vaughan?

You told me your car was set up for sand driving

It was, then the wife spotted a pram she liked, so I had to sell the ARB bull bar in order to afford the pram

Hopefully your wife should be too old for a pram so you should be able to talk her out of it easily enough .

Nothing to it Vaughn. Though, if you don't have a nudge bar it won't really do much as the valance is plastic anyway and you can "massage" it with rocks etc. Trimming the end caps is easy though. If you can hold out till we catch up I can do it for you. I like chopping up other peoples cars.

Thanks Boxer, any chance of doing it before Sunday when I go to Stockton?

And if you can do me a favor and not grin too much as you walk toward my car with a cutting tool, it makes me nervous.

The first cut is the deepest

Ok so I stopped procrastinating and got down to it.

The original - in perfect condition I might add

    The tools

    The strip down

    The first cut

    Bolted back up

Hopefully the wife will not notice

Looks brilliant mate. Much more aggresive. Couple of yellow D-Shackles hanging down and it''ll be the muts nuts.

    P.s, mine wouldn't notice.
