driving up the bypass today and something just didnt sound right had a look and the welsh plug had blown of the back of the turbo gone, went to all4x4 and got a new one so now i have to go take the manifold of and fit a new plug

pulled the manifold off to replace the welsh plug and it is cracked like a dry mudhole

put the new manifold on and at 2500 it makes a severe whistle/scream type noise any ideas where to go from here
the turbo still spools up and checked and it still has oil going in through the feed line

This looks like a dark area mate, not to many seam to know much about the turbo side of things by the looks.
I am sure if you get the work shop manual it should be able to guide you to the right way to set it up. I am unsure, but surely in this day & age thereis a place to get the manuals online
Failing that I guess you need to seek out a diesel or turbo specialist.

I know I wasn't any help, but I would have thought someone here would have known what you were after
Do you know what caused the manifold to crack ??
