    Unhappy Urgent Help Required...

Well it's now 11:PM I'm at work in St Leonards (Sydney) I live in Wollongong and the Disco is parked at Pymble with what I can only describe as a small braided fuel line with a bloody big hole in it!! The engine bay is covered in diesel, all under the Disco is covered in diesel even the trailer is covered in diesel.

The hose runs between the injectors on the 300tdi, I think it my be a bi-pass hose. So here comes the questions:

1/ where can I get a new fuel line on a Saturday.
2/ can I stick any old bit of rubber hose on it as a temp fix.
    3/ any other suggestions.

I'm a bit limited on were I can go for parts as I don't finish work until AM. Any help or Ideas would be appreciated.

    Jeff

is the line between the injectors around about 4 inches long? if so I think I know what your talking about and I may have a bit here at home from when I did mine.
problem is if I do have some you would need to get to me and I dont know how you would do that......Disco white actually got mine for me but I cant remember where from but I believe its a readily available thing to get perhaps pirtek might be able to help you out

Sounds like fuel return line, just pressed on, no hose clamp?

Either of these could probably come out and sort it for you tonight, but I'd guess the callout fee would be a killer. Or the Pirtek at Mascot is open on a Saturday, or was a year or so ago.

Should be able to get fuel line at Supercheap, Repco, etc. no idea if in the right smallness, though.

if you get this in time assuming its the injector return line you can use as a temporary measure aquarium air hose and later replace it with almost any 1/8th inch diesel safe fuel line.

It is a fuel return line. I don't think pressure will be very high.

If you have trouble getting 1/8" hose, try silicon sealant and tape/bandage over the the hose and some hose clamps (in the area of the leak) to hold it all together.

Hi John yes it is the return line, there is enough pressure to pump fuel so it hits the underside on the bonnet when it's open.
