TDI Fuel lines

Gee they saw you coming, I did mine a month ago it took 30 seconds to pull all the hoses off and 10 min to put new ones on. The fuel hose cost $10 per metre at Repco. If I had the time to shop around I could have got even cheaper.

I thought oil was leaking from my car, but it turned out to be the fuel return lines. Cost me 6 bucks from the local auto parts guy and a few cable ties just to make sure.

Can someone tell me where the last return line goes?

The one closest to the firewall; does it go back to the pump somewhere or does a hose run straight all the way back to the tank?

Mine appears to have come off and I can't find a spare hose or connector anywhere.

The one nearest the firewall is blanked off, so they return to the front of the engine and then from the front most injector back to the pump and then onto the tank. :p

Thanks for that, I feel bettter now knowing I don't have a missing hose. :D

I ended up replacing the hoses joining the injectors anyway; they didn't leak, but as soon as I grabbed them they fell apart. :eek:
