    Disco springs

    hi there just wondering if the coils out of any other model landy or rangie fit into a 1992 disco its a 4 speed auto with a 3.5i if that makes any difference or for that matter out of any other car, any information would be appreciated as its better than none

    theres any number of aftermarket springs available.

    for standard gear my supplier of choice would be MR automotive in redcliffe but Ive recently been put onto suspesnsion stuff (www.suspensionstuff.com) Ive installed 2 of their kits now and the owners seem to be happy with it.

    Springs from any Classic Rangie (i.e. Pre P38) and any Disco1 (Pre 99) should fit your 92 Disco. Spring rates may be slightly different for different models and between V8 and TDi but they will fit. From all accounts Shane at Suspension stuff is great to deal with and has some good products.

    I have custom rear Dobinson Springs in the back of my 92 that came out of a 85 Rangie. My fronts are currently Rear Kings 2inch lift springs. As you can see some mix and match

    thanks alot! i was offered a set of rangie springs that are 2.5 over standard for a very very good price like thrown in with some other junk im getting. wasnt going to worry if they wouldnt fit.. steel bullbar(warn compadible) off a similar disco and springs for 400 bucks cant pass this up =] once again the forum has been very helpful and i extend my thanks . dan.
