Thread: Headlight Relay install

They are just the 100's... 2_door used to have the 240's on hes old Disco and yep, I agree, he would cook the roadkill before we got to it

Just an update:

OK, theres been some changes to the wiring of the spot light relay. I initially used a blue white cable, but that was the main power feed to the bue/orange and blue/grey. So the blue/grey is the cable I needed for the spot light relay. Now this is the trick that caught me out.

There are 2 blue/grey cables under the dash! I cut the wrong one so had to rejoin them. Then whilst going nuts with 2_door thinking why are we getting power to the cable, I eventually found another blue/grey, being the correct one.

All good now, works beautifully

good to see you got it working mate. That still doesnt explain why there was no power there but there was continuity to the high beam.....damn Lucas

I hope when you opened the loom, you didnt let any of the smoke out of it

you will have to get that nudge bar finished now mate to rest those road kill lights on

I put mine on the other side to be safe (as I too used a fog lights switch) as I didn't want to blind road users by putting them on by mistake as mine are for the roof lights and unlike the spots are not connected to the hi beam only the lights them selves
