Took me a little while to figure out what you meant but i see now what you mean.

    Disco 2
    Wheelbase 100.0 in (2540 mm)
    Length 185.2 in (4704 mm)
    Width 74.4 in (1890 mm)
    Height 76.4 in (1941 mm)
    approach 31°,
departure 21° (25° with rear air suspension')

    Disco 1
    Wheelbase 100.0 in (2540 mm)
    Length 178.7 in (4539 mm)
    Width 70.6 in (1793 mm)
    Height 77.4 in (1966 mm)

Anyone know what approach angles are on the Disco 1?

    Thanks for the dimensions grumpy.

I knew Disco II had a longer load space, but from those widths it is probably about 100mm wider as well.

    From owner's handbook for 98 disco I:

approach angle (EEC kerb weight) 39*
departure angle without tow hitch 29*
departure angle with tow hitch 20*

hmmm...Interesting how the tow hitch affects departure angle so significantly
