    Discovery alloy wheel nuts

    On the disco alloy wheels the chrome cover on the wheel nuts.
    Do they come off or are they fixed ? they have marks on them if
    they all were undone with a socket. Thanks ......Mark

    They are fixed to the nut itself but I have seen the odd one come off (unintentionally).

    OK thanks for that. I thought they might be like the ones on the trucks
    that you had to pull off with pliers. They mark very easy....Mark

    hey mate, the covers you are referring to are Stainless Steel not chrome... if they have marks just take the nut off the hub and gently stick it on a wire buffing wheel.. thats what i did to mine come up like new.. stainless is tough as **** and pretty hard to damge them. if they have dents in the ends the hole through the nut goes all the way and you can tap them out using a hole punch or similar.. hope this helps
