    Question headlight switch

    can anyone tell me if the head light switch (the arm that comes out from the steering column) is the same on the early and late D1's

    mine is playing up and I need to replace it

    Hey Mark, have you tried cleaning the contacts etc in it? Maybe a simple fix mate.

    no I havent, I thought it would be a sealed unit. I didnt want to pull the column apart to find I couldnt get into the switch.

    Have you done this before Carlos???

    I havent done it to my previous Rangie as the switch melted... so no point. But I have seen Timau13 cleaning the contacts on his old Green Rangie.
