Iam in the process of put some custom draws in the rear so the herculiner will never wear, but we also found it made a great body deadner.
We can always hose the car out too :D

You could always cover the tops of the screw with marsking tape.I dont have any plans on removing floor pans again but transmisson tunel should not be a problem, but I did use alot of sika flex between floor pans and tranny tunnel :D
