No wear at all I put 3 coats in the rear and also have rubber mats on the floor.

Iam in the process of put some custom draws in the rear so the herculiner will never wear, but we also found it made a great body deadner.

We can always hose the car out too

I had the front floor pans out and did a coat then when dry I put them back in and gave another coat.It says to give the second coat when still tacky which I did with the rest of the car and have not had a problem.

You could always cover the tops of the screw with marsking tape.I dont have any plans on removing floor pans again but transmisson tunel should not be a problem, but I did use alot of sika flex between floor pans and tranny tunnel
