    Easy to do Bruce,

The outside of the seal has a strip down the middle, find the ends and lever out with a small screwdriver. Carefully pull the strip right out (all the way around the window) and it'll allow the actual seal to flex enough to pop the whole lot out of the roof.

Now, getting them back in is a whole lot of pain and patience.

Unless someone here knows an easy way or trick or tool required ? ? ?

    Good luck

The way to get the seals back in is with a wire tool that has a V like loop at the end, this is inserted into the opening and the filler rubber is fed into the loop, the tool is then dragged along the window seal groove which opens it and the filler is inserted as you go. Lots of lube like soapy water also needed.
Hard to describe, but there was a pommy vid around some where on rebuilding a landy that showed this

Be gentle when you take the window out.
And when you put it back together, some silicone in the main seal is good, and to make it easier to put back use some k- y (or similar) on the locking strip. It will take some fiddling, but it you'll get it back in with a small screwdriver ok if you use some sort of lubricant. The small screwdriver also assists in pushing the seal around so the ends match ( ie end in the middle)

Im planning on doing same soon too. Lack of overhead cover (garage/carport) makes it diffcult to plan when!
