I've suspected head gasket since I pulled over but the mechanic wouldent say I'm just trying to get prepared for how much of my holiday coin is gone
mmm ... Maybe Simon (Joker) can give you some moral support ...
Mike
Better it happened now, than ON THE BEACH .... I guess
How did you go with that Auto biso?? ... that thread went sorta quiet
G'day mate just saw your thread and trust me i know what your going through. i know how you feel especialy when you had things planned out and this had to happen. I was sooooo many times in the situation your in right now, had to give up a drive here and there and even some well looked at holidays BUT like mikey said on his post better to happen here and not while you where away cause i reckon you would feel alot worse. I came very VERY close to given it all up but the thing that changed my mind and am sooooo happy i did was the guys/gals on this forum!!!! I dont have money to spend on my rig but with the help from family and everyone on here i got her working and now am very happy and if i had one wish that would be to fix up everyone that helped me out while i was having problems. I was with out a car for nearly over a month while it was getting fixed, and thats hard when you have a mum that works and 2 little boys.
Mate all i can suggest is try to stick with it and get it all sorted out, even if it takes a while and you might have to put other things off but in the end when she is running great you'll feel alot more happy and have alot more confidence in your rig like i have right now. I'm thinking it might be a head gasket prob and heres hoping its just that and nothing worse.
Mate i wish you all the luck in the world and i reckon you'll have her runnning in no time and again will be enjoying those outings with the fam.
take care
simon
