    Welcome
If you want to just swap the centres into disco housings it's fine to swap the front defender centre into the disco housing with afew little changes (you might have to swap hubs ect) you can't swap the rear's though due to the defender having a salisbury diff in the rear, it's possible to swap the whole lot (housings and all) out of a defer under a disco thought, not positive what is involved, do a search there was a thread on it resently

What year defender, if it has a salisbury rear then no rover diff center will fit and if its a post 2003 then it uses a P38/D2 type rover diff so a D2 center will fit- there is no advantage unless yours are buggered.
