    3.5 V8i Dizzy

    hello there i just fitted a dizzy to my disco and im having trouble attaining correct timing... the park that is mesing me up is the drive at the bottom i hear its an oil pump drive.. im curious is this free spinning to the other gear that drives the dizzy , for instance if i could move it round with a screwdriver or so i could attain the correct timing without the dizzy body fouling on the things round it..

    Yep, turn it with a screwdriver. The distributor is driven by the camshaft, then the distributor drives the oil pump.
