    my disco is slanty :(

Hi all, sorry i havnt talked much, but i have been reading

I have a 91 2 door disco.. current problem is it leans to the rear right,
initially i thought the spring had sagged and the shocky worn out completely, i went through them all and found all 4 shocks were rooted and so thought i'll splurge and get all 4 2" raised heavy duty springs and long travel shocks all round. Lucky i had a mate at Wilkinsons in perth, got King springs and Bilstein shocks for $990(BARGAIN )

only problem is, although still sitting higher and being nice and firm. it still slants to the rear right..
has anyone encountered this before that could point me in a direction?

With new springs, the RH one is usually taller to compensate. Were they marked as such? My Kings were.

Anyway, the lean will return soon enough even when they start out level.
It's all the torque of the V8 that does it .

hmm, nah the springs were matching part numbers right and left..
hahaha oh yeah, forgot about that monster
but so its a common issue that is never really rectified?
no doubt the A frame bush is more than likely worn out aswell, would that affect it?

mine does it also...and my springs were not handed either....but my originals were

one thing I did notice though is that when the fuel tank is empty and the rear wheel is off the back door it does straighten up...I wouldn't worry about it

put some big rubber on it......all guys put big rubber on to compensate don't they.

then no one will notice its slantyness....as they wont be able to take their eyes of the wheels

just drop the air pressure on the high side.

LR springs are handed if you get a set thats not dont fit them. From memory theres about a 100Kg difference left to right.

    Why???

My britpart springs were not handed. There are a number of 3rd party springs in the uk that aren't.
