no it'll run fine on E10 but you may experience rotting of some of the rubber bits in the fuel system.
If youve been running it on e10 on a regular basis you may find that this is the root cause of your problems and the rubber bits that have disintigrated after the filter have clogged the injectors, the strainer on the pump and may have taken out the pump.
if its stupid but it works...........
:D
"it's stupid" ...........y's that then ..we have just managed to save all the guess work in one thread by concentrating on one part of the system at a time ....;)
thanks mate tho for the info and will get to work ....first i have to remove the draws and barrier tho...:(
cheers Dave
Does anyone know where i can get some new fuel lines/hoses for my D1.....a link would be great ...
cheers
pirtek, super cheap, repco.
OK ..Tank dropped and cleaned out (there wasnt much soot as such .)...New fuel pump in ...new fuel lines to the filter .....instant difference in the running ...but still just a touch of hesitation now and then..(when i say now an then , l mean twice in 5km stretch home from the little bro's place ..im assuming (not that l should)...that there will be a little settling going on ?....[bighmmm]....
cheers
yes there will be a little Id suggest changing the filter again after the next tank of fuel.
