anyone bought injectors from a bosch agent

    Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone has bought 300 tdi injectors straight from a bosch agent and how much did they cost? plus part number etc I have a part number ERR3339 I dont know if thats theirs or a land rover one.

I have also contacted a few people in the UK but car is in the garage now so kind of need to get it sorted...Also although UK states new its on exchange basis...so I'm more concerned that the ones I would be buying are not in fact new but refurbished which apparently you cant really do to them other than change the tip

I have contacted a bosch man over email but waiting for a reply

    Thanks

    That's a Land Rover number.

I've heard a couple of horror stories through work regarding non-genuine injectors so be careful what you buy.

They probably are (I haven't checked) but there are non-genuine injectors being sold too. They're the ones to be wary of.

3 years ago ERR3339 ( LR number - the bosch PN is 2FH KBAL 90 P 37 rated at 200bar pressure) was at the 41 pound mark ( I got a set from Paddocks) - which is what the LR Orphanage still have them for ( ERR3339 Injector 300 TDI - Detailed item view - Land Rover Orphanage Parts, Spares & Accessories ). It's unlikely that Bosch would sell you direct, and whatever outlet does, will charge like a wounded bull.

Since they are a light article, postage is low and if you are lucky ( and you remind them you are a citizen of Australia) you don't have to pay VAT nor Australia GST.

Remember to get a set of copper sealing washers - the old ones will be U/S.

I second langy with regard to Paddocks. I had to replace all 4 injectors which the local LR dealer quoted NZ$4500.00. Paddocks including post came in under a grand. Those EDC 300TDi injectors are bloody expensive
