Thread: Front end modification

This is my first post on this site.I am owner of both 1994 D1 and 2001 D2.My question is do you guys know or have seen if anyone have swapped bonnet and fenders from other vehicle and installed it on disco.I have seen picture of range rover with bonnet of H1 Hummer.And this is what I am planing to do.
I know that people use engines from Toyota ,Isuzu,Mercedes, axles from Toyotas and so on .But I am intrigued with idea to use body parts lets say from Toyota lj70 series , and install it on Discovery.
What do you think.

i thought we had landrovers to get away from things like toyotas :P in all seriousness but i would think it would be hard to find something that fits well however with enough mods anything will fit anything....
