    Finally get my Disco back

Hey guys, I'm pretty excited, I decided to put the D1 into the panel shop and see if they'll repair the damage done on the last Yalwal trip with Scouse & co.
She was finally assesed by GIO on friday, I should have her back by the end of the week.
Now I need to replace the rear diff (also a casualty of that day) and still require a radiator.
Oh well, hopefully in 6 mths I'll be in an early D3

    Damage?? What damage??
It was only the track rod, wasn't it?

The real damage to the cars came later through the tight tracks . I'm still polishing out the scratches .

I'm mostly talking about the 30cm long dent on the rear upper quater panel, the cracked rear door handle, the cracked tail light I "discovered" afterwards, the slightly dented sill on that side of the vehicle (because it COULD have happened then too) and the missing front corner to my front bumper I discovered after I got home. I'm not sure what happened to that
All up over $3000 worth of damage.
That doesn't include the rear diff that went crunch a few weeks later by the way.
Yalwa is a fun park to play in

Adn yes Terry, I will be bringing the new beast out there, once I get some barwork made up.

Give me a few weeks to get my diff and radiator sorted and we'll arrange another trip.
I may have a Pajero to tag along to break too.

    Aah, I forgot about that.
One should never try to reverse park on a hill that steep .
