    that'll do the job nicely.

just make sure that its not synthetic as you will need to flush all of the old oil out before you run the new stuff.

TQ isnt a syn, the equivalent full syn is Transmax Z.

Anyone have any idea how Dex VI goes in a ZF ?

    Ashtrans/Dave ?

It's backwards compatible with and replaces earlier formulations (in GM transmissions) and has much, much better oxidation resistance, life, etc to earlier Dex formulations. (which are no longer licensed)

you need to watch the "slip" levels of the better lubes.

Ive had a few cases where we've changed over for a newer better oil in an auto just to have it slip like buggery but when its gone back to the older style oil its been happy as larry.

In theory tho with all things being equal so long as you're over the standard required, have all the additives required, no additive issues (exotic metal contamination issues) go for the best oil you can find/afford.

Thanks very much guys...hoping a trans flush and filters will stop a harsh shift when hot.
