    D1 roof removeable?

    Just wondering if the roof on a D1 is bolt on like the classic Rangies? After a very brief look I don't think so, but it would make my life a lot easier if they were.

    you can remove it, with an angle grinder,
    the roof on a d1 is welded on.

    Umm, no. Its all welded steel up there, not all that much ally in a D1

    Thanks guys, thats what I thought. It would have made those rust replacements around the alpine windows a lot easier though if it was removeable.
