Thread: Who the heck is "LUCAS" and why does that word all of a sudden fill me with dread???

    Who the heck is "LUCAS" and why does that word all of a sudden fill me with dread???

    I've heard the word "lucas" a few times now, never in a positive context. Can someone please explain to me what it is and if it's going to just stop my disco from working in the middle of the bush one day for no reason at all ???

    It sounds like it's the main controlling computer and every now and then it can just stop working and cause you havoc. If this "lucas" tries to mess with my disco I want to be ready

    I love the car I really do but I'm worried that it will just stop one day without warning or reason

    Is there anything I can do to prepare myself for this destined debacle? Does lucas kill all discos or just certain ones? Is he going to come and get me when I least expect it and make me hate land rovers forever???

    Go see ya local priest and collect some holy water ... Use it in case's of Lucus appearing in a cloud of smoke
    Go see ya local Hindu priest and get the ride exorcised
    Go see the jeweller and buy some crosses / get em blessed / and hang em on ya mirror

    & buy a decent UHF / VHF / HF & a carton of beer when heading bush ......


    OR

    Stop thinkin like a TOJO driver and just ENJOY the ride
