Over the Christmas break I had a new exhaust system fitted to my 95 V8 in place of the original one. I went for a 2.5 inch custom sports exhaust system in mild steel from Y junction back with a Supercat Converter straight through main muffler part no. SCM 4054 and Berkley sports resonator part no. BM444 and a 2.75 inch straight out single steel tailpipe tucked high up under the back bumper.

All up $350 fitted from Exhaust Plus at Northpark.

Deep distinctive Rover alloy V8 rumble at idle, noticeably louder than before but not deafening by any means. Open the throttle up and it growls as the revs rise bit like a muted TVR. Much more like it than before and so far I've driven everywhere with the back windows open just to savour the sound it makes.
